    Review odor profile:
Lovely-not only the honeycomb but you sense Genet and delicate floral undertones. I am very much looking forward to diluting this to sample. Other beeswax I sample are quite heavy (delicious)and used with effect for gourmands, ambers and musk accords- this is extremely ethereal-versatile, with a delicate honeyed floral note..etc.

My folks raised bees my entire childhood. This is the smell of honey in the hive. Like the honey itself it takes on some subtleties of the flowers from which it was created. This one is wonderful and rich. This is not a honey fragrance but rather the entire hive. Solid at room temp so will need a little heating to make it mobile . I use it in 50% ethanol for ease. Transparent in dilution.

Therapeutic to smell. For me at least.

I have bought the Biolandes beeswax absolute and this one and have to admit that I’ve fallen in love with the Robertet beeswax abs. I found this one much fruitier and less animalistic, and like another reviewer mentioned, has floral undertones. Also, I found the absolute from Biolandes has a plastic aroma that I did not like, while this one is more soft and slightly sweet. Just wonderful.

Smoky, dried fruit, tobacco, leather, heavier and darker smelling than the Biolandes. Useful for when you need that but I prefer the Biolandes, which is lighter, and closer to the smell of pure, fresh beeswax and without the smokiness.

I adore this product!! I have both the Biolandes beeswax abs and this; they are very different! I find this one a bit more sweet, floral and less animalic than the Biolandes. I actually enjoy mixing the two to include the darker gourmand-ish qualities of the Biolandes with the airier floral qualities of this one- they both dissolve brilliantly in alcohol.
