Yankiel –
Very tenacious base note. Exquisite, sensuous and divinely elegant, Apritone with its distinctive apricot character and noble rosy and green nuances can be used alone (yes is that good) or in combination with other apricot notes. I adore this molecule.

Unfortunately I must disagree with Yankiel and the product description. Apritone does give the effect of a ripe apricot, which smells great on its own; but it is neither tenacious nor diffusive in compositions. Combinations with gamma undecalactone, prunolide, damascones, lactones and even red pine can be successful if Apritone comprises a large part of the composition; otherwise its effects are often unnoticeable in finished accords or perfumes.
Mark Sage –
Agree with Yankiel. It has a lasting effect as a modifier of powerful basenote materials and is lovely stuff, fruity but with floral and green qualities also. Love it.
Tatiana Naumova –
Apricot pulp in cream with hydrangea. Creamy floral and slightly tart smell . Perfectly combined with sweet musks.

This is an amazing opulent and powerful aroma. It lasted ALL day on my skin. I used trace amounts in the fragrance I am creating and it brought it to a whole new level. It adds a brilliant opening but soft warm lingering finish to an already built perfume. A small amount goes a long way!
