Use with lactones such as gamma octalactone and jasmolactone (which I prefer) to build a basic fig accord. It is more complex than the stemone itself.
Tyson Schenk –
Has a very unripe fig aroma. More vegetable than fruity. And wow is this stuff strong!! The only other material I’ve worked with this strong is Birch Tar. Even at a 5% dilution it can really overtake a formula. Definitely needs gamma octalactone to give it the laconic quality of rip fig.

I purchased Figuene sometime ago. I revisited a blend I made, and thought I add a review. I really like this product. It is unique – a green vegetable garden stem/leaf scent. It is strong and will easily overtake a blend. I have diluted very much and it remains quite present. I have blended it with a floral, a touch of “sweetness” and other greens – to soften and mellow its sharpness.

It’s difficult to do fig well. This is wildly strong and unpleasantly artificial to my nose. Might be useful in traces if one wanted to make a decent fig base or as a modifier for green notes.
