I’ve worked my way through a bunch of leather accords. I’ve made my own and I’ve purchased several but none come out what I’m really looking for. I’ve finally found THE ONE in this Leather Base Specialty. I purchased 25gm which will probably last for quite a while. It’s so powerful it fills the whole room just by taking the cap off. Fantastic!!!

A very nice product, indeed! A realistic smell of leather. Or, perhaps, suede (to be more specific). I think this has wonderful blending potential. Careful, though! This can easily be overdosed, and you’ll quickly end up with “that new car smell.”

After playing around with some basic ingredients to create my own nice leather/suede-scent/base I received a sample of this. The stories are true: it is better than what I hoped to achieve as a hobbyistic amateur. It comes very close to what I like as a leather-note in various perfumes I smelled the last decades.
No shame in using bases here, as my goal is not being the unique niche next big thing on the market, but making something I like or even love. The playing around incorporating Leather is now much more fun and ease for me.

It’s a clean soft leather accord, not smoky, not dark, just soft suede, and very pleasant – you can go with it in different directions. A strong material in a sense that you really need a touch of it. Very happy to have it !
