This is a powerful synthetic version of Tabanon, a compound which occurs in tobacco leaves, is manufactured by symriseSymrise and some consider an especially important addition to tobacco & leather accords and fragrances.

Odor Description: balsamic, spicy, blond tobacco, aromatic
Stability: body lotion (very good), shampoo/shower gel (very good), soap (very good), AP roll-on 15% (good), detergent powder conc. (very good), cleaner liquid citric acid (poor), cleaner APC liquid (good), bleach (poor)
Perfumery Use: heart note booster; gives significant twists to aromatic notes; enhances tobacco as well as leather accords; imparts aromatic aspects to opulent flowers
