One of my favorite purchases so far, alpha damascone has a beautiful honey-rose-plum facet that can be used as a prelude to amber based compositions and my favorite, tea inspired perfumes (it’s naturally found in black tea). It’s complex and pleasing on its own or easily paired with aldehyde, floral, woody, herbal, citrus and fruity notes.
