RHUBOFIX® has the ability to fill out a fragrance. It blends very well with woody, spicy, rose, bergamot and lavender notes. With salicylates, interesting spicy effects can be obtained particularly if sweetened by heliotropin or similar materials. Its delicate green-woody nuance also harmonizes effectively with citrus notes, in particular lemon and grapefruit

As inspiring as single molecules get. The fun here is that the complex, sharp, green, shimmery tingle Rhubofix brings lasts, and lasts, and lasts… Its smell reminds somewhat of grapefruit and haitian vetiver, but with many facets all its own.
Obviously welcome in modern cologne accords, to push the sizzle of the top notes well into the heart and base. But with a little experimentation, much more interesting possibilities open up in all directions: from bringing a lasting green twist to spicy floral accords, to giving a bright bite to dark woody accords. (Eg there’s endless fun to be had trying to build accords from Rhubofix and amber bombs – Timberol, Ambermax, Amber Xtreme, and such…)
