Alex –
A wonderful scent opening with slight floral, drifting into the smell of the inside of a good leather shoe. Great finish with a soothing, lasting Pomelo flavor. A keeper…

Very underrated! Bottled fresh air. 🙂

Very reminiscent of the spear hand soap with the clown fish on the label. Imagine playing in a river and snacking on fresh-cut melon—it has a distinct aquatic note with that light melon musk as well as a distinct note of clean skin. It reminds me quite a lot of when kids bring in that “outside” smell after several hours of play. I lived in China for a while, and this was a ubiquitous scent there as well.

A deceptively simple molecule whose olfactive profile and performance easily bridge the gap between the floral, aqueous facets shared with its positional isomer Cyclamen Aldehyde and homologue Silvial, which are more distinctly floral, and other molecular groupings: ozonic, fresh, fruity (melon, cucumber), marine. Effective even in traces to add depth and softness to top and middle notes. With Styrax Oil and Helional, you easily have the beginnings of a Lilac; with Dimetol, Cyclamen Aldehyde and Linalool, a dewy Freesia; with Calone 1951, green melon and shades of sea salt; with Cascalone, fresh air & mist.
