Very prickly-fresh, naturalistic fresh-green-pine-needles citrusy top note. Interestingly, this seems to also have a much longer dry down than I’d expect, where a different, sort of subtle-but-present wet-fresh transparent note is left on the scent strip, which helps continue to convey and bridge freshness into the heartnotes.

I find one of the great uses of this material is it may do the olfactory work of heavier beautiful conifer resins and absolutes without forgoing character. A light weight material containing notes alike brushing up on a hike against tree resins-Black spruce absolute, Cypress wood and leaf with all their texture with depth. There is even more added beauty -the impression of freshness via top notes of bright lemony citrus, rosemary ( resin) and young pine buds. Lovely!
