Splendione is a stunning material. It is unmistakably jasmine at first sniff but to a much higher degree and broader range than most jasmine materials. It has depth and high odor impact along with more typical petal and green nuances but it also gives recognizable lactonic and sweet nuances present in jasmine absolute but so lacking in most jasmine materials. It would be acceptable on its own as a jasmine note in a fragrance and closer to complete then anything else I’ve smelled for a jasmine reconstruction lacking only benzyl acetate and a touch more of a lactonic note. Of course it could be used for any white flower reconstruction as well. Oh, and it lasts 4 days on a strip.

Splendione is Jasmin’s first impression … Floral white, like hedione and can take different directions: Jasmin, honeysuckle, Nardo, ylang ylang among others, Good material
EGC –
Long-lasting and lovely jasmine material. Could pass off on its own for a somewhat sheer jasmine note, but needs an indolic booster to truly get it there IMO. Very broadly applicable and helps out a lot, even in fairly small doses, in all manner of white florals.
