The first overwhelming impression with this pure substance was: Lychee! Upon dilution, it becomes flowery.

This does not smell exactly like magnolia, but it is an excellent and very powerful floral and fruity note. Beatifull!!!, it has diffusion. It has enough duration, a little can dominate a perfume from the top note to the base…

I’m still learning how to use this material, but I’m finding it lends a dark, dry, almost mysterious floral aspect to a blend. To my nose, it’s not super powerful, but it really does add essential floral tones to a blend. For me, it has a dry darkness that’s really nice to connect notes through base to top.
