Obsessed with this one. I’m sensitive to rose alcohols; and find this to be so helpful in building a rose accord, or even in providing a touch of rose to a perfume, one that doesn’t shriek at you “HELLO IT’S ROSE”. It is petal-y, not exactly dewy but fresh, yet still darker/melancholic: some compare its darker tones to an absolute. I find I can’t personally make a rose without this: Phenoxanol adds depth.

Totally agree with the comment above. I’ve only just discovered this one and I’m so loving it. It’s become my go to ingredient to add a little rose petal-ness.. it’s not cloying or overpowering.. just perfect. You can dress it up or dress it down
