I love pyralone but it is seriously strong. Even around the outside of the lid of the bottle it’s kept in. To avoid it contacting and in turn contaminating your other materials, you have to keep it away from the others! It goes without saying, a little goes along way. It adds an intensity to a soft leather accord. Addictive too. Side note: When I smell it in the air, without knowing it’s Pyralone, I find the lingering scent reminds of rye bread. Don’t ask me why.

Very strong, modern, synthetic scent that I found instantly interesting! For some reason, it immediately reminded me of the combination of scents when walking into a shoe store or department store, which I guess is why it lends itself so well to leather accords. I originally got this to learn to create leather accords, but am also discovering it can be used within other formulas for add a modern, high tech vibe. I like it a lot!
