Rum Ether is a nice rum-like note used as a flavouring agent. Useful for gourmand-type perfumes.
This is a very top note that lasts only a few minutes on a smelling strip.

Rum Ether gives a narcotic trace. In small quantities it can increase the alcoholic characteristic of a Perfume, giving it a gourmand type as Richard said. Very nice AC.

I like this product a lot, if you want to sweeten up your perfume add a few drops of this and let it sit for a week or two. It adds a nice warmth to the final composition.

Very boozy if short-lived top note. I recognise it from rum-flavoured confectionery and a particular cake that is very popular in Denmark. Strongly gourmand, realistic dark rum with notes of caramel and chocolate. I also get a slightly fecal and earthy animalic undertone very fleetingly upon first opening my 10% dilution.

Great boozy top note for gourmands.
