Jake Smoak –
Veloutone revamped my boring Lavender,, Ylang, Bergamot, Cedar barbershop completely.
My Ylangs can actually compete now with the sharp begamot opening, Lavender is able to do its thing with the refreshing linalool note without turning it into a woody composition. It gives it a feminine grace that I liked in Mitsuoko. I used it in .10% of the composition. Keep in mind my composition is 95% naturals and was desperate to give it the right push. This material will assist with lactonic creaminess for white florals, sandalwoods, musks, very soft boost that makes a hard difference in my opinion.
You can pair it with a strong peach aldehyde or Persicol to make it a more creamier mitsouko peach!
