The opening aroma reminded me of Tuberose with a strong upfront earthy, somewhat leathery, dirty note. As it evaporates, the top notes soften and the floral aspect with a hint of fruit and sweetness comes more to the surface.

Very earthy and green; I love this scent, it reminds me of digging up still blooming Dofodills in late fall to transplant the bulbs: Encompases the entire scent of: The flower, the stems, as well as the damp mossy earth. Cant imagine a ‘Classic’ Feminine perfume without this note.

A beautiful Narcissus absolute. Strong, heady, somewhat green and herbacious. Narcisse Absolute is not easy to use in a formula, but when using it, this would be the one. Really, you can’t go wrong with an absolute from Laboratoire Monique Remy. Lovely.

This is an absolutely stunning material. I was familar with one high quality narcissus absolute and very familiar with the flower itself but the first time I encountered this one I was completely blown away. Now I’ve had the chance to experience it further, I’m even more impressed. It represents the finest aspects of the best flowers I’ve smelled and is incredibly concentrated and refined.

I love how heady and how interesting with just a tiny bit of this could do such wonderful changes in a formula….
