This is a great quality of vetiver with a huge, rich topnote and more floralcy than rootiness. Not as substantive as some but much more diffusive.

(Review from Paul Kiler) This is probably the nicest Vetiver I’ve smelled that is commonly available today. Vetiver Bourbon was the ruler by which all other Vetivers were measured, in times past. It’s what you see on old formulae. It is also most likely the Vetiver chosen for the mythical Guerlain Djedi perfume of 1924. I have a very small sample of a wonderful aged vintage vetiver distillation. This Bourbon Vetiver is the closest in odor profile to that old stock that I wish I could get so much more. I’m very pleased that PSH is carrying this Vetiver for us to enjoy…

A beautiful vetiver that is very similar to (if not the same as) the vetiver in Guerlain’s famous “Vetiver”. Very clean and very elegant. Definitely the only vetiver you’ll need.

A very nice quality of vetiver oil. For me, no better than the Haitian vetiver oil I already have, and not quite as tenacious either, but really extremely similar overall. An excellent, versatile material.

This vetiver is smoky but not overwhelmingly so like Java varieties. It also has a roselike quality to me and blends seamlessly with rose materials.

Yes, this is one of the nicest vetiver’s you’ll smell! I’ve had a couple others of late, but I keep going back to this one. Rich, earthy, cool, mossy, smoky … to me this evokes the scent of the great outdoors. Lends a wonderful masculine edge to scents in high doses, or a subtle grassiness when dialed down a bit. Excellent material to work with, and at a perfect price. Don’t hesitate.

I ???? this vetiver has a nice smokey woody earthy scent with a slight floral coumarin undertone, blended with my other Vetiver’s made a elegant Khus Attar absolutely banging.

I agree with Jamie, this Vetiver has the olfactory profile of Guerlain Vetiver, very clean and elegant, can make remarkable contributions to fragrances both used in traces and at higher doses. The best Vetiver I’ve ever had so far.
