Perfumer’s Supply House Tools – Table of Terpenes – a visual introduction from isoprene to latex

Table of terpenes-a-visual-introduction-from-isoprene-to-latex-200dpi

To say that we are “happy” for someone to give us non-Chemists a helping hand to understand these seeming mysteries would be a gross understatement.  I’m ecstatic and ecstatically grateful…The table/graph above is made by Chemistry Teacher John Kennedy, at Monash University, Australia.  He takes great pride in making visual graphics to help his students understand Chemistry concepts graphically, and for Visual learners like Myself, this is utterly FANTASTIC!!!   And he has gifted these to the world, and we re-post them here in his honor…   The above file is the whole graph.  The below PDF file is to download and then print out so that you can splice them together and place them on your wall for ready reference and repetitive learning opportunities and research..

I sincerely hope that you get as much use out of them that I know I will…

  1. Yes, I have completed and aced my test for Dispensary Training and now am Certified 03/25/17. While waiting for dispensaries to open, loved the chart and my intuition told me to, “wake up and smell the terpenes”. Thanks for the help in my decision about terpene selections, for patients in this synergistic approach to patient care. Can’t wait until the,”Mystery”, Sesquarterpenes are revealed. Keep up the good work.
