Odor: Faint solventy odor.
Effect: According to Perfumer’s World, this complex base of musk and woody compounds is used as a fixative that enhances odor. It works by adding a layer in the fragrance below the odor threshold without imparting a specific odor. It stimulates a complex maturation effect in a perfume compound without changing the basic odor type or needing time to mature. It is described as the “MSG” of fragrances.
Recommended Usage: 1% in most fragrances, o,1-0.5% in citrus fragrances and up to 5% in heavier fragrances like oriental, chypre, wood. fougere and masculine scents.

This stuff is amazing. I had a few fragrances I created that lasted at best 30 minutes on the skin. after reading the description for this product I decided to give it a try. Initially, I was worried that this would flatten the fragrance or alter scent of the perfume. I am happy to say it did not. The description says it works as an enhancer but I have to say I find it extends the life of the fragrance as well. I had a bubble gum floral scent I was working on I had given up on because after 30 minutes it became unscented. After adding just 3 drops of PWx factor to the final composition the perfume now last 4 hours plus. I know this is still considered unfavorable but to go from 30 minutes at best to 4 plus hours is a pretty big deal to me. This will become a stable in my library.

I came across PWx at a workshop given by Perfumers World in NY. I was amazed at the immediate and amazing effect it had on my composition (chypre-like). I have used it fairly consistently since then.
Follow the guidelines for use, especially with citrus.

Agreed with the previous comments. I’m blown away by this stuff!
Fell desperately in love w a few PO I happened upon but they had absolutely no longevity. I lamented the issue to the maker yet all she had to reply was “The are what they are…”which peeved and disappointed yet the scents were too divine to give in and up while I’m very picky and finicky. I only had a little more than 1/2 of 1 ml which of course made me quite anxious due to the difficulty of measuring such tiny amounts as I too feared flattening the little I had left while being indecisive about ordering more/higher quantities.
I added the tiniest amount. Fortunately had another 1/2+ ml to use as the control. I was particularly concerned due to the explicit warning when citrus notes might be present.
The result was nothing short of miraculous! Not only did the “Factored” vial gained at least 3 times or more the longevity and projection, but right out the vile, gained tremendous radiance and richness of depth, exactly and beyond the product’s description.
I got bolder and added more, as well as to the other samples I didn’t have the identical “controls”.
This is genius stuff and doesn’t alter the fragrance whatsoever. Seems foolish to go without and I feel infinitely fortunate having discovered it.

I must add (Christine, hope it’s OK and certainly not expecting to earn a coupon ) that most recently , I was floored when tried it on my tiniest supply of vintage Diorissimo.
It didn’t appear to alter the glory whatsoever yet made it last astonishingly and exponentially longer on the strip. That, as well as keeping very vivid at that. I felt obliged and compelled to report this.
