This is an unusual little creature, I’m not sure what I’m smelling here. I do get all of the things mentioned in the description if I try to focus on them, but the one that stands out is waxy. It almost smells like a burning candle (the unscented kind), and some light green/mossy tones. I think in the right blend this could be super modern somehow. I’m stoked to work with it!

MNA could be compared to candle wax/ burning candles with traces of citrus fruit in the background. Quiete interesting 🙂 Still very difficult to describe.

An interesting one, as others have mentioned, but nevertheless a staple part of pine, moss and “Christmas” accords in my opinion. Quite unpleasant at full strength, you ought to keep the bottle tightly sealed and/or dilute upon receipt. The noblest of all the straight-chain aldehydes.
Try including traces of this with incense-type notes to bring their impression right to the start of the fragrance – even in some cases beyond any citrus notes.

I am looking forward to incorporating a small amount of this into my new fragrance with woods, moss, sweat, and earth to boost the metallic sweaty edge. I don’t find this at all unpleasant at full strength!
