Todd Huyett –
This is your quintessential iris note. It’s iris plain and simple, and a beautiful material to have whether you want to make an iris fragrance or just use it as a modifier in another accord.

This is simply the queen of all iris molecules. Extremely precious fragrance ingredient. Very diffusive and tenacious. Fantastic on its own, or together with other fine violet/orris materials.
Daniel Barros –
Best powdery effect for fruity fragrances à la Insolence. Great longevity.
Kristen Wegner –
This is a really tempting replacer for orris butter along with others like orivone and irotyl, but Stockholm Syndrome acquired over years from paying through the nose for the natural product leaves me reluctant and undecided.
Tatiana Naumova –
For me, it’s more magnificent violet than iris. But it can replace iris too. I also feel dry branches and unripe raspberries. Powerful, diffuse, long-lasting material.

Life saver this product is. It’s decisive and blends in well. It made my fragrance I’ve been working on to a next level. Will buy a bigger bottle next time even though the 5g is well enough to dilute and use. I diluted mine to 1% and it was perfect for me.
