I have 2 suppliers here in australia and their sandalwoods are great except no bulk sizes I thought my prayers had been answered with a description that said powerful unfortunately all I get is a lot of natural nothingness by comparison, sorry I was hoping to love it.

Mot powerful, diffusive, delicate and substantive sandalwood chemical of all derived from campholene aldehyde. You shold allow a smellingstrip of it in a room over night to estimate how it works and how it smells.

For some reason, I kept purchasing other sandalwood molecules to explore. One day, I chose a small sample size of this and was blown away by its beauty. On a paper strip, it’s creamy, woody, elegant. Reminds me of a dryer javanol (another favourite of mine). It can be used in small amounts, but I wish I could just wear this as is; like many of the Firmenich aromachemicals, it is sophisticated.

One of the top-tier sandalwood aromachems. Has a more full, rounded woody expression than many other sandal ACs. Less “steroidal” and more woody than say Hindinol, more fresh and green than ebanol, and more crisp and less soapy than sandela and santaliff. Really lots to explore here!
