Osmanthus trees are super popular in China, especially in the south. This one has a strong tea facet, and I can get some Theaspirane from it. Because of the less sweetness it contains, I’ll say it is the silver osmanthus instead of the sweet golden one. Super fresh and delicate.

Smells just like the osmanthus flowers in my backyard in the drydown @ 1%!

This base is amazing, strong, powerful comes through the compositions easily so carefulness is a must. It smell awesome. Many ingredients are soft smelling, this one is NOT. 🙂

I should have ordered a bigger bottle because I’m in love with this osmanthus. I got the osmanthus but with a touch of honey and peach just a slight fruity scent and I’m loving it

This is strong yet lite and very floral. I had to dose it quite low when I used it with champaca absolute. Very close to natural one if you know how to dose it well.

Being from Sweden, when the first notes of this ozmazing base hits me, I think of a bakery making saffron buns at Christmas. The top has that leathery safraleine note and then it dries down to fruity, herbal, floral goodness. Considering that osmanthus absolute costs an arm and a leg, and doesn’t fully capture the essence of the flowers, this base is a priceless material.
