Fumencens HTC (Payan Bertrand)
$12.00 – $226.50
Obtained by high temperature dry distillation from olibanum gum (Boswellia carterii Bidrw) followed by molecular distillation. Contains Natural Triethyl Citrate as a carrier. Fumencens is a dark liquid.
CAS# 8016-36-2 (frankincense)
Smoky opening that evolves to burning incense. After the smokiness fades, olibanum and a slight citrus note come through. A soft church incense finish after several days on the blotter. Recommended max usage 2.5% in fragrance concentrate.

Holy Smokes! If you’re looking for ingredients to build a smoke accord, or alternatives to Birch Tar or Cade, this is it. It’s so pleasantly smoky, not as strong or in your face as birch tar, and has a sweet frankincense/citrus drydown.

I really enjoy this for fun effects- I hate to admit I feel quite incredibly creatively lazy when I use it. This is because it does so much work for you. It gives you incense it gives you a hint of smoke it just is so handy and there’s nothing I love better than high-quality and handy materials- . (now I’m not saying don’t go out and figure out your own incense smoke accord because that’s important but boy ohh boy Fumencens makes it way too easy!) Love it!

A strong frankincense absolute note with added smokiness. Really great for building incense accords, only a little is needed to get a thurible effect in your composition. Great to blend with frankincense EO & other materials like the Olibanum Coeur.

This IS the scent of a Catholic Mass. Pretty incredible, I could just dilute this and wear it.
