Alexander Chesebro –
By far the richest and most seductive rose absolute from turkey I have ever encountered! A must-have natural material for building full-bodied or oriental rose accords.

It is tobacco, with fruit acidity, with a red Apple, tart. Assertive, a bit aggressive.

A rich, complex beauty of a rose with a jammy character that makes it stand out among other types of Rose Absolutes. Turkish Rose has a fragrant gourmand quality for those familiar with true rose flavor. It is exquisite in natural perfume compositions. A simple combination with patchouli reveals unparalleled alchemy. The two ingredients form a third sensory impression in solution (the same is true with Jasmine). Priced right and performs well.

This is a beautiful Turkish rose absolute, warm, full and woody. Combined with rose reconstructions it gives a magnificent touch of naturalness, if used alone it will give you the most beautiful rose you’ve ever smelled. Robertet is never wrong and I thank Christine for offering these wonders.

Wonderful material. Excellent value. I use this all the time. I love the golden yellow-orange colour as well. Beautiful

Sumptuous, dark and alluring. Warm, rich and complex; this Turkish Rose is a gem.

Great material from Robertet. This Rose absolute has all of the beautiful facets of the rose with a nice hint of spice. Love it !

Great value. I have a Turkish rose oil that’s 5x the price and have been dreading having to eventually reorder. This is very similar, except for the color. The odor is actually superior and the performance doesn’t leave much if anything to be desired. Possibly my favorite rose abs, the word “dense” comes to mind. Compared to the oil there’s also a dry-balsamic nuance along with the deep rosy-fruity-green floralcy and spice and it’s more diffusive. Bravo on this one, Robertet.

I was wary of getting it due to a review that threw me off. A damn shame bc since I got it at last, I’ve become instantly addicted. It is as most all reviews describe, a rare gem.
Dark and warm w an air of mystery and entirely unique among rose materials! So many gorgeous roses with alluring initial sweetness, turn aggressively tart, just about immediately once out of the bottle, in my experience. An inexplicable imbalance I lament oftener than not.
Not this dark beauty. It essentially proves this point. Robertet. Absolute. Authentic all the way. At least this Turkish one.
I find it remarkably calming, warm and cozy. Like a dawn comforter. Exactly, in fact. It’s my instant association. Enveloped in the pure sensation.
Approaching fast the last drops of the small quantity I have been so recently initiated with and am rushing to order a new bottle at once, another first for me. I refuse to be without it. And I want that magnificent blanket around me as much as can help it. Especially with the chilly weather approaching. Most importantly, A solid yet softest armor to keep me warm, and safe inhaling this bliss of a rose and never tire of it. Thank you so very very much Christine, for introducing and offering this magic potion. I’m happy as a clam, wrapped in a rose blankey!

Just superb! I work with various rose oils and am always fascinated by the nuances, sometimes quite strong, imparted to various rose oils due to different countries’ soil and climates. Such an experience for me is Lemon Verbena, which can be very different in scent between the French and Moroccan ones. This particular Turkish rose oil is perfectly intoxicating and full bodied, with just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. It is a testament to this oil that each of the reviews here have something extra to add!
