Odor Description: A phenolic, tar-like, smoky burnt odor that is also leathery, balsamic, woody and diffusive. Blends well with jasmine, sandalwood, rosemary and benzoin.
Process: A slow destructive distillation from bark that is further steam distilled to achieve rectification. Food grade in U.S.A. only (not allowed in food in the E.U.).
