This is molecularly distilled frankincense resinoid. Clean, refined typical frankincense note, very true to nature, yet also quite strong. What I like about this is the very long-lasting dryout note, evocative of church incense. If you have tried other frankincense resinoids and been disappointed with the strength and tenacity then I would advise trying this one instead.

I’m really impressed by this one.
Instant favorite!
DH coments are right on.

Another essential for incense compositions that’s more balsamic and pronounced from the top and middle notes especially…even more so than the standard firmenich solid resinoid. I find both useful to use together to reinforce and synergy in a resinous incense composition

Of all the raw materials of oliban/frankincense this is what I most love. I waited some time to review, compared it with Robertet Olibanol (another very nice frankincense product), Bois d’Encens and Olibanum resinoid (solid crystals). Olibanum Coeur has the wonderful characteristic of being full, resinous, round and complex, it reminds me of the wonderful resin of Boswellia Rivae heated by the oil burner (not on the charcoal disk). It also has a splendid top note which can be amplified by an essential Frankincense oil, with its citrus notes modified, for example, by a beautiful oil of red blood orange. It is also suited to oud’s compositions, along the lines of Oud Luban … And it lasts forever. I recommend it. Thanks to PSH for providing this product.

This olibanum is clean, and longer lasting than the CO2. It also has a sweetness that I quite enjoy. Definitely worth checking out.

The best olibanum/frankincense oil on the market. Bar none.

The best olibanum on the market. Hands down.

This is the finest of the molecular distilled olibanum products IMHO. It is pure frankincense – top to bottom. Very effective even in small amounts.

One of the best olibanum oils I’ve ever owned in my perfumery organ. It really helps stretch your incense fragrance creations. I dilute mine to 20% and it’s still powerful and long lasting. Almost finished my bottle and will buy the 60g bottle very soon.

I agree with all the other reviews on this product and underline that this is truly the best Olibanum I have ever tried to date. Thanks to Christine who always offers these wonderful and unique products.
