knatesuda –
It smells like expensive aged brandy. Rich, malleable, woody, amber.
Helena –
Amazing. Full-bodied, deep, entrancing amber. A beautiful material. Thanks Christine for making this available.

Caramel-wood scent with, as Knatesuda says, more than a passing resemblance to an aged brand. A gorgeous gooey, dark, smooth material. Dilute it right down and you won’t lose any of its magic. I am playing around with it a rose accord where it adds the depth and harmony I need.
alissiasaidso –
just as described, rich, balsamic, amber. thick and sweet, tickles the tip of the nose. I couldn’t find it on iff when I searched the sight though. maybe with the cas#?

“Labdanum, Smoky, Earthy”
I get a Caramel-wood scent with some sweetness
nikita –
The “soul” of labdanum absolute, but without any of the pesky molecules that are restricted by IFRA. To my nose it’s basically labdanum absolute, minus some of the little nuances (i find it is less floral).
